Alright people i think the front of this car just looks bland and boring, compared to the sides and rear.
Question is what is the cheapest way to change this like new bumper etc?

new grill and a ctr/mugen splitter would make it look 10x better, might be cheaper buying a sport bumper as that would have the splitter and black lattice grill already attached

You can pick up pre facelift bumpers with splitters if your lucky from around £65-£100

Type R pre facelift grills are around £45 on

Yeh im not really into having fake R badges on though, for example i end up having a go with an astra and he goes away thing he beat a Type R.....we cant be having that. As far as im aware the grill is attached to my bumber, so i have to get rid of the lot anyway, so i think the sport would be best as the grill is attached to that one aswell.

yeah it means your getting the grill and splitter in one go, either that or just put a grill in the one you've got!
you can cut the big plastic one out and slot a prefacelift ctr grill in it (and take the ctr badge off!) and then you have a nice bumper and grill for less than £50

i opted for a 04 front bumper with a mugen grille, and i'm going for a mugen splitter too. can't agree more that the pre facelift front end looks lame.

Is the facelift bumper a direct fit? Or do you have to replace the bumper carrier, headlights, bonnet etc?
